Criminal Doctor
Smirnov, a talented neurosurgeon, becomes not just a bandit doctor, he becomes a bandit to get his son out of the gang. Smirnov is so much taken by the work in hospital that the real world ceases to exist for him. His wife leaves. His son who grows up without his attention doesn’t know his father.
The story begins from the fact that Smirnov gets a patient on the operating table and he saves him. The next day this patient is already in the morgue because there is a war for the port in the city. Smirnov, who decides to find out what was the reason of the death of his patient turns out to be in the jail for the murder he did not commit, and then he gets in a gang that opposes the raider seizure of the port. Just in a couple of days, Smirnov undergoes reassessment of his values. It turns out that he has no clue of what’s going on within the walls of his hospital, besides that, his principles and ideals are failing.
The life of a person which he as a doctor considered sacred, has no meaning, including his own life. Smirnov realizes that when he tries to escape from the gang. But the only way to escape out of the gang is to the grave. In order to survive, Smirnov commits a crime. And he has to survive because his adult son is in the same gang and his son does not realize that there is only one perspective ahead for him which is death. To save his son, Smirnov goes against the gang, inevitably becoming a criminal himself.
There is a war, blood is flowing…
