Robert LeRoy Ripley was an American cartoonist, traveler, and journalist. He visited 198 (!) countries, searching for the most mysterious and unusual phenomenon. If you sum up all the distances that Robert Ripley covered during his travels, turns out that he rounded the globe at least 18 times. Ripley visited the jungles of Central and South America. He traveled to Japan, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Ripley saw a giant bronze statue, the smallest horse in the world, a duck with four legs and a turtle with two heads. He also made a photo of a newborn baby, a smiling mouth full of teeth, and a man, who attracted metal objects like a magnet. And this is just a small part of his amazing collection!
